Review by Yeah I Know It Sucks:
"This release, a split album featuring artists Pollux and The Intellectual Anarchist – something I’ve been self-styling as for years but never actually thought about applying as an alias for music! – is guaranteed to blow your mind, specifically in the realm of illustrating just how deep lobit music can go in such limited, compressed space.

The first track is by The Intellectual Anarchist, and it’s titled ‘Night Life’. Lobit bell tones harmonize with each other at the beginning, weaving a tapestry of melody, a power-line symphony. A micro-sounding electro beat comes in with a touch of ‘verb that echoes into the digital anacoustic atmosphere.

After this lovely bit of sound comes the Pollux track ‘Flow’, which is very low droning ambient soundscape that move like the waves of the sea. This is set upon shortly by swirling electric chamber choirs, digitized by the bitscape. A deep, murky bass drone shifts into the mix. These are some intense frequencies that develop, guaranteed to hit the pleasure receptors in the brain. It’s a soundtrack to a mechanical Atlantis.

The third track is another by The Intellectual Anarchist, ‘Breaking The Waves’. The calm, effusive tranquility of the former track disintegrates into white noise.

And now we come to the last track, ‘The Cute Rat’, which is yet another by The Intellectual Anarchist. Very pretty. High frequency and flautish tones are backed by bright, disarmingly organic choir chords… this creates a cozy warm blanket of lovenoise, wraps you up in it and carries you off into opiate-bliss. It’s very sweet, endearing even.

Get this short split at the link… you will see it, naturally below the words right here… and always remember, dearest readers of Yeah I Know It Sucks… you are the wi-ind beneath my wi-ings!"
