Description by Gypsy Feet Records:
Mystify your senses as the inimitable Pollux guides you through forty minutes of an epic musical journey as varying, soft, vibrant, and mysterious as the great Northern Lights! While this incredible track falls within the broad reach of "ambient," it is truly a piece that defines AND defies genres. A rare longform experience from a prolific artist, Aurora Borealis is as wondrous as her namesake. Remember, each donation brings light to the underground, as all profits are donated to charity! Review by Yeah I Know It Sucks:
"On YIKIS we have covered a lot of music by Flat Affect, but even more often from the French producer Arnaud Barbe, better known as ‘Pollux’. Why is that you might ask? A logical explanation is a rather large interest in their music, we being fan-boys or just enjoying their output so much that we want to share it with our loved ones; You!
Luckily for us Pollux provides along its extensive music career a lot of releases to dive into. It’s impossible to keep up and collect all of them, but we do our best here at Yeah I Know It Sucks to inform you on a regular basis of new Pollux material that should be of your interest!
This new release on the wonderful good willing Gypsy Feet Records (a label that donates its income from every release to charity) is no exception. Pollux introduces a beautiful soundscape of angelic proportions, a perfect soundscape to compliment the wonders of nature like a full moon or the magical moment of viewing the northern lights. It’s very calming and pleasant and almost mythical in it’s crystal clearness. Soft warm tones form long stretched minimal melodies that gives every natural moment a beautiful and respectful glow. It’s like Pollux providing a ribbon around the beautiful view of a fantastic looking horizon."
